Sweet. You did it. I hope your flights went smoothly and that you are settling into your new digs.

Weebly is not our friend, right now - so we're using this method.
Life is good. we're tired. hornbills are VERY loud, doves still coo, dogs still bark, kids still giggle and smile and jump up and down.
New people at Freedom Lodge - manager and cooks. The change is working for us! Victoria and Pendo and Angel are our best friends - they spoil us!!!
We've met with the head of school and the school board chair -open discussion - I hope honest. Today was meeting with the Diocese General secretary - the big cheese - 2 school board members, Elizabeth and M and M. It, too was honest and open and productive, we think. ( It was a vERY long meeting. Lunch at Selma's, change money , nap and dinner. Tomorrow we move to the guest house at the school - will be good, we think, but we have to cook! It's hot and humid in the day, but lovely at night and in the morning.
Feels good to see many friends. Much more ahead, but we've gotten a good start. Love, Mary

Mary/Marilyn - it is not you. Weebly website is down. I'll let you know when it is back. It has not been down in a very long time so this is unusual.

Hi all hope this type of blog works as I couldn't figure out the complicated one.
We arrived (Mary Nelson and Marilyn Ahlf) late Monday nite the 11th. We stood in line at SEA and finished watching the Seahawks game Big Win!!! We were so excited as we got onboard that we practically hugged everyone!
We are well and Thursday 14th Mary and I will move into the volunteer house on the Ngateu campus. We realize no running water or toilet facilities in our room. We are willing to give this a try. (More about this later I am sure)
For those that know Elieshi, a girl Ken and I sponsored at Ngateu,is a nursery school teacher near Ngateu. I saw her today and she introduced me to baby girl #2 Born one month and one week ago. I will get her name in my memory bank tomorrow. The weather is very nice. Not too hot most of day. But think this is a lull to climatize us
Mary and I have been very busy with meetings and we will attend school board meeting on January 23rd.
As usual, Elizabeth Hudgins and David Mtui are squiring us here and there and our social calendar is filling up
more later. Hope to take pictures of all form one students and will try to send other pictures of interest when Kristina helps me master her blog site Marilyn Ahlf
