Hello all!

We have been out of Internet connection for many days.  During that time we went on Safari for 5 days.  Amazing!  Attached is our picture blog for Aug 8 to 11.  I have 5000000 more pictures of safari animals.  I hope to get that one done and sent before we arrive home.  But, there is also beer to drink, wine to pour, great food to eat and wonderful people to greet!

Reading Groups. . . .

We worked with students reading in English. This helps with reading and language skills. Jenn’s rendition of a lion roaring, while acting out the story, helps with comprehension. Then it was the student’s turn.

Thursday, July 31st, Kahli played for us during the hour before dinner at the Freedom lodge. Here we are at the outstrrreeetttccchhhed table for dinner. The culinary options: pork chops, chicken Kiev, fish, T bone steak...yum.

The closer we get to the school the more primary students dressed in blue come out to greet us.  Many with big smiles to our simple Jambo greeting and some being bold enough to say “Good morning” and “how are you” over and over giggling at our responses. . . .
